I thought DATs for altcoins were just crazy Ponzi games. But when you think about it, DATs allow altcoins to go public: from ICO to IPO. A DAT for BNB is like a Binance IPO, which they probably wouldn't be able to do otherwise. Or a AAVE DAT would allow TradFi to invest in the future of lending.
