FDA approved brain computer interface!
Precision Neuro breaks from the pack to provide a less invasive alternative to Neurolink.
Smaller than a fingernail. Thinner than a human hair.
One of our most exciting investments is a 1.5cm brain implant by Precision Neuroscience that’ll someday soon give quadriplegics the ability to control robotic limbs.
Someday soon, its tech could expand to let people control other devices using their brains.
Precision’s brain array is the first device of its kind (a wireless BCE) to get the FDA’s official greenlight.
The array is implanted just into the skull and lays on top of the brain instead of being inserted into the tissue.
There are a handful of companies making brain implants today, but a few factors set Precision apart.
It’s…
→ Less invasive than competing tech
→ FDA-approved for 30 days of continuous use
→ Tested out on 37 patients for short-term use during brain surgery
And almost ready for its next phase of longer-term clinical trials. During that next phase, Precision plans to begin trials on quadriplegics for longer periods of time.
Four years from founding to giving paralyzed people their power back.
Next up:
Longer trials, then changing how humans interface with everything.
