According to Bitcoin.com, last Sunday, Marla Maples, the second wife of US President Donald Trump, posted on social media platform X, calling on Trump and his team to abandon their lawsuit against early Bitcoin investor Roger Ver. The videos related to Roger Ver's charity work have been widely circulated on the internet, with supporters including Ryan Fournier, co-founder of "Students for Trump", and several freedom advocates. Last week, a group of international supporters released a video showcasing Roger Ver's charity related work. On Sunday, Marla Maples, Trump's ex-wife, forwarded Fournier's post to her 61500 fans on the X platform. Maples added, "Share more about calling for the withdrawal of the lawsuit against Roger Ver." In the message, she tagged US Attorney General Pam Bondi, White House Counsel Dave Warrington, Elon Musk, and President Trump's @ realDonaldTrump X account. Last May, Roger Ver was arrested in Spain and charged by the United States with email fraud, tax evasion, and submitting false tax returns. He is known online as the "Bitcoin Jesus" and is the former CEO of digital wallet developer Bitcoin.com.
