Impulse Space raises $500 million in funding, valued at $4.26 billion

According to Tech Funding News, Impulse Space, founded by SpaceX's first employee Tom Mueller, has completed a $500 million Series D funding round led by 137 Ventures and BANNER VC, with a post investment valuation of $4.26 billion. The company has accumulated over 1 billion US dollars in financing, focusing on solving the maneuvering problem after spacecraft launch. Its Mira precision maneuvering spacecraft has completed multiple missions, and the Helios high-energy upper stage is scheduled to make its maiden flight in 2027, with the goal of transporting payloads to GEO, lunar, and heliocentric orbits. Tom Mueller stated that Impulse Space is committed to building the economic and technological engine that drives humanity into space.
