😂 The first lesson of living abroad is that you must buy insurance.

What I remember vividly is that when the chipmunk went to the doctor for the first time in Singapore due to leg pain, they took an X-ray, consulted a specialist, and the final conclusion was that nothing was wrong, costing about 7,000 Singapore dollars.

The second time was when playing badminton, where they got hit in the eye. The community clinic couldn't help, so a note was written to go to a specialized hospital, a simple check-up was done, and some medication was given, costing 2,600 Singapore dollars.

Then when the chipmunk got hand, foot, and mouth disease, it didn't cost much, probably less than 2,000 Singapore dollars, but I don't remember clearly.

The insurance premium is about 3,300 Singapore dollars a year, dental coverage is separate, and getting wisdom teeth removed is 405 Singapore dollars a year, which seems to include a few cleanings. My teeth are not good, so I bought this, but it turns out I haven't used it for two years 🤣
