Gate officially launches stock transfer in and out functions, supporting cross-brokerage stock transfers for U.S. and Hong Kong assets, further optimizing the global stock trading service system. Users can apply to transfer stocks held by external brokers into Gate and can also apply to transfer positions from their Gate stock accounts to other brokers, achieving more flexible and efficient management and allocation of stock assets.

The stock transfer service launched by Gate does not charge any fees for transferring stocks in or out. The service uses FOP transfer method, with U.S. stocks processed through the DTC system and Hong Kong stocks through the CCASS system. The entire transfer process is expected to take 3 to 15 business days, with the actual completion time depending on the processing efficiency of both brokers and market processes.

In terms of usage process, users can access the "Transfer Stocks In" or "Transfer Stocks Out" functions under "Common Functions" on the "More" page of the Gate App, selecting the U.S. or Hong Kong market as instructed, and then submitting an application after filling in broker information, stock codes, quantities, and other relevant data. In the transfer-in scenario, users need to contact the original broker to initiate the transfer; in the transfer-out scenario, accurate receiving broker information must be filled out. The platform also provides an application record query function, allowing users to check the processing status in real-time, including different statuses such as processing, completed, and revoked. Currently, this function is being gradually rolled out, and users can pay attention to subsequent version update information.

To further reduce the cost of cross-brokerage transfers for users, Gate has simultaneously launched a limited-time "Stock Transfer Benefit" event. From July 1 to July 7, 2026, during the event, users who sign up and complete a stock transfer application for U.S. or Hong Kong stocks, with a successful transfer of assets valued at 3,000 USDT equivalent or more, can apply for fee subsidies with valid transfer fee vouchers from the original broker and enjoy VIP upgrade benefits. Among them, the maximum subsidy for U.S. stock transfer fees can be up to 15,000 USDT, and the highest subsidy for Hong Kong stocks can be 6,000 USDT. VIP levels can be upgraded up to VIP 9; the specific subsidy amounts will be allocated based on the actual transfer fees and corresponding levels. The launch of the stock transfer service also marks Gate's further progress towards complete asset management capabilities in global stock operations.
