Back in Singapore for two days, I have completely slept for two days, averaging more than 18 hours of sleep each day. Indeed, sleeping is the best way to rest. By Monday, I should be able to return to my normal routine. Thankfully, although there hasn't been any significant progress between Trump and Iran in recent days, as long as the fighting doesn’t resume, I personally feel it's alright, which allows me more time to slack off.
This time in Hong Kong, I also chatted with some friends about the topic of general traffic. My attitude remains the same; if what you want is Musk's salary, general traffic can still contribute decent value right now. It doesn’t need to be too complicated; just transporting is fine. Moving content from Bilibili and Xiaohongshu is the simplest. Transporting high-traffic content from these two sites shouldn't be too bad on X either.
However, if you still want to make an impact in the cryptocurrency field or dig deep, or earn some money within the industry, then having your own independent views is very important. You can actually observe that some friends have posted content with only general traffic that performs very well, but once they switch to native cryptocurrency content, the traffic drops significantly.
There’s no right or wrong, only judgment about one’s own path forward. Some friends say that by gaining attention through general traffic, they can then convert it to cryptocurrency traffic when the bull market comes. I find this quite difficult; they are completely different types of people, and achieving that conversion is not easy.
Looking back at Bitcoin's data, since Trump didn't do much over the weekend, the market hasn't shown any significant changes, and both the turnover rate and transaction volume have sharply decreased. This also indicates that ordinary investors have almost no interest in trading $BTC at the moment; the drastic drop in turnover rate after just one day is the best proof.
