Zeng Guofan, in his early years, almost lost his life for giving advice to Emperor Xianfeng, and his family even prepared a coffin for him. If it were not for Cixi, Zeng Guofan would have never had a chance to rise;

If it were not for Cixi, Han officials like Zeng Guofan, Zuo Zongtang, Li Hongzhang, Zhang Zhidong, and Liu Kunyi would not have had any opportunity at all;

In the "Southeast Mutual Protection" incident, the phrase "this chaos is a command, Guangdong does not obey the edict" would have left any other emperor unable to let it go, but Cixi was able to weigh the situation and, for the sake of "the Boxer Rebellion, maintaining the overall situation, safeguarding the Southeast, and recognizing the great achievement," although she felt deeply troubled, she remained restrained and instead rewarded many regional governors. This is truly not something an ordinary woman could accomplish.
