Every single investor seeks to achieve arbitrage.

They want to either:

• Buy an asset low and sell it high; or

• Buy an asset high and sell it higher

There's literally nothing else.

Some seek to achieve income, but not at the cost of selling at a net loss.

That's literally the entire game we're all playing.

Saying that an asset is "worthless" because you're only trying to sell it to someone at a higher price at some point in the future is a compliment, not a criticism.
