This will encourage you to think more deeply about the question you want to ask, rather than just asking casually without any regard; or seeking answers from anyone just to find comfort in agreement, even getting upset if the answers differ.

I believe these behaviors waste time and show a lack of respect for both parties. Think it through before asking; otherwise, if you don't even value your own question, why ask it?
