Delivering food or driving for ride-hailing services is not something you can enjoy just by having a work visa. Finding a job in Singapore is not easy either. Singapore offers very good protection for locals, with the baseline being permanent residency, which allows for basic citizen-like treatment. However, if you are a citizen or a permanent resident, the difficulty of living will significantly increase.
