I have to say, it's surprising that an account with almost 100% fake news managed to keep many friends waiting until three in the morning. Looking at this account's previous statements, they included things like the U.S. increasing tariffs on China by 500%. I skimmed through it and almost laughed out loud, but that’s not even the funniest part.
I know this "information" was sent by Kan Ge from Douyin, and the spread on Douyin is even more exaggerated, claiming that Trump's son opened a $120 million short position. I have to admit, the tone is very on point; even Trump would probably come out to give it a thumbs up.
Can such obviously fake content really fool people?
