I just had a call with a friend, and they are quite worried that the escalation of China's countermeasures might lead to further intensification from Trump, such as the originally scheduled 100% tariff on November 1 being moved up to today, or the addition of entities to the blacklist. These possibilities are increasing, especially since Trump has a character that is likely to retaliate. Should we take precautions in advance for this situation?

I can't provide an accurate judgment, but I can share our own approach. First, trading $BTC in waves doesn't suit me, so I have no plans to move it at all. My friend's cost for BTC is also very low, and they don't plan to make any changes. On the other hand, $BNB has been showing good upward momentum recently, but there are currently no plans to act on it. The biggest uncertainty lies with $ETH.

ETH is very volatile and currently quite fragile. Although about one-third of the leverage has been cleared, there are still a large number of open contracts. In contrast, the open contract volume for BTC is almost at its lowest point in the past year, which is one reason why BTC tends to be more stable.

So my personal view is that if you are worried about more severe retaliation from Trump tonight, and you do not have leveraged assets in ETH, you might consider hedging to avoid risks. If you are not a long-term holder, you might consider selling, as long as you are not anxious about buying back. If you have leverage, although I don't think there will be a large-scale deleveraging again, it doesn't hurt to be cautious.

Personally, I am not making any moves; instead, I have prepared some funds to buy the dip and increase my holdings, after all, there are no eternal enemies in politics. The last time a 150% tariff was imposed, it was rolled back, and neither China nor the U.S. should want to enter a full-blown trade war.

Additionally, if you hold a large amount of altcoins, you really need to be more careful, at the very least, you should reduce the leverage on those altcoins.
