A few years ago, I lent out quite a bit of money because I find it hard to ask others for help. Occasionally, I borrowed money in emergencies and paid it back quickly. So, I thought others would be the same. In the end, human nature simply can't withstand scrutiny; only a very few people paid me back, and some even blocked me 😂… What's even more amusing is that the more adamant someone is before borrowing money, the lower the probability they'll pay it back afterward, and they might even borrow again because they think you're easy to talk to… They believe you're kind-hearted and that only you can lend them money…

So, even the softest heart can be hardened…
