The essence of lying flat is not inaction, but selective action—

Mental energy is precious; it is our energy and attention, and mental energy is the true scarce resource—

I believe mental energy > time > money.

We need to achieve the greatest outcomes with the least energy, which means learning to "do nothing" most of the time, reserving our mental energy for the key moments of "doing something."
