JPMorgan: S&P 500 Index Rejects Inclusion of $MSTR and Cryptocurrency Bonds, Hitting Market Confidence

JPMorgan stated that the S&P 500 Index Committee's decision to block MSTR from being included in the index is a significant setback for corporate cryptocurrency funds.

This move indicates that the S&P 500 is unwilling to include companies with substantial holdings of $BTC in the benchmark index.

Although MSTR has been included in other indices, JPMorgan warned that this rejection may prompt index providers to reconsider companies related to cryptocurrency.

The bank also noted that investor fatigue is increasing, issuance is declining, and the sustainability risks of corporate cryptocurrency financial models are rising.
