I see many friends asking similar questions. Simply put, you can invest in global assets using stablecoins without going through currency exchange. Let me give you an example.

Many friends know that recently there was a bankrupt country called "Sri Lanka." This country also has foreign exchange controls, making it very difficult for ordinary people to hold US dollars or other foreign currencies, let alone invest in other foreign currency products.

When Sri Lanka went bankrupt, its sovereign currency continued to depreciate, purchasing power declined, and inflation surged. It might be the case that the money to buy a cow today could only buy a bottle of milk tomorrow. In such a situation, it is clear that buying Sri Lanka's domestic debt or stocks has almost no chance of profit.

However, due to currency controls, one cannot obtain foreign exchange from official channels. If one could obtain US dollar stablecoins through OTC methods, they could directly invest in US dollar assets through on-chain brokers, such as US stocks or US Treasury bonds.

On one hand, this can prevent the assets you hold from continuing to depreciate; on the other hand, it allows for some profit. Moreover, the more extreme the situation, the more valuable it is to earn and spend in US dollars.

Of course, this is an extreme example. For instance, during the Russia-Ukraine war, the first thing that was blocked was the financial market. Investors could not smoothly redeem from the stock or bond markets. Even if you went to another country before the closure, you wouldn't be able to get a penny back. However, if your assets were in an on-chain broker configuration like #DeBroker, then no matter where you go, you could always redeem your stocks for US dollars or US dollar stablecoins.

In summary, the emergence of DeBroker (on-chain brokers) can enhance liquidity in traditional risk markets and allow assets to break free from the limitations of "territoriality."
