Still rising > Altcoin season not yet

Above 50% > Altcoin season stand by

Reversing down from a high point > Altcoin season in progress

Gradually approaching 40% > Altcoin season maybe ending soon

It's best to look at this in conjunction with the $BTC price —

BTC rising + BTC.D rising = Altcoins are weak.

BTC rising + BTC.D falling = Altcoins are strong.

BTC falling + BTC.D rising = People are panic selling altcoins and buying BTC.

BTC falling + BTC.D falling = Panic selling intensifies → Shifting to stablecoins.
