Japan's largest banking group, SBI Holdings, has officially submitted an application to the Financial Services Agency of Japan to launch two new spot ETFs:
- BTC + XRP ETF
A cryptocurrency ETF that directly tracks the prices of BTC and XRP. Investors can buy one fund to allocate to both types of crypto assets simultaneously.
- Gold + Crypto ETF
At least 51% will be invested in gold, with the remainder invested in cryptocurrencies (including BTC). This serves as a hedge against cryptocurrency volatility using the stability of gold.
