There are two principles for reading.

There are two principles to reading: first, you must truly read the book and finish it; second, important books should be read repeatedly, revisiting them every few years.

A good book will not reveal all its wisdom on the first read. Different stages of life bring different perspectives and depths of understanding.

The first reading of a book is "input," the second is "dialogue," and the third may lead to "insight."

So share the books you have read many times in the comments!

Let's share together!

Here are some books that I have read more than twice and think are great (in no particular order, I will write them as they come to mind):

" Sapiens: A Brief History of Humankind" — Yuval Noah Harari: A grand perspective to re-understand the past, present, and future of the species "human."

"Jin Ping Mei" — Lanling Xiaoxiao Sheng: If I were to give my child a coming-of-age gift, I think this book would be the most suitable. It is a true reflection of human nature over the millennia, and understanding it can help avoid many detours.

"The Little Prince" — Antoine de Saint-Exupéry: A book I have read many times in both Chinese and English while in detention. It seems like a fairy tale, but it is actually a philosophical book for adults. Each reread feels like reclaiming innocence. I am grateful for this book, as it has taught me how to better interact with children.

"1984" — George Orwell: An interesting dystopian political allegory novel that reflects the current reality of every era, prompting reflection on the present, the system, and oneself.

"Principles" — Ray Dalio: The life and work principles of the founder of Bridgewater Associates, the world's largest hedge fund, worth re-examining every few years.

"Antifragile" — Nassim Nicholas Taleb: Understanding the uncertainty of investment and the reflexivity of investing is the true moat of investment.

"The Psychology of Money" — Morgan Housel: I have written my insights and reviews on this book at least twice. It is about money, but actually about human nature, freedom, and the philosophy of "enough."

"The Road Less Traveled" — M. Scott Peck: A life guide that integrates psychotherapy, personal growth, and a sense of responsibility. I recommend the first and fifth books in this series; they will make your life happier.
