Pendle and Treehouse represent two construction paths in the current DeFi fixed income sector in my eyes:
Pendle: A yield separation trading platform that splits yield assets into fixed and floating income through the PT/YT mechanism.
Treehouse: An emerging decentralized fixed income infrastructure that builds an on-chain fixed income ecosystem through the tAssets arbitrage mechanism and DOR benchmark interest rate (similar to traditional market LIBOR/SOFR).
The difference lies in the fact that Pendle is already a mature yield trading platform with an annual fee of $35M, and its business model has proven to be sustainable; Treehouse, on the other hand, focuses on solving the fundamental problem of the lack of a unified interest rate benchmark in DeFi, attempting to reshape the on-chain fixed income ecosystem from an infrastructure level, and its development is in the early stages.
As a rising star, $TREE being able to launch simultaneously on Binance spot, Bybit, and Kucoin was something I hadn't anticipated, and it is an important catalyst in the project's development.

It is important to note that the $TREE pre-deposit event is only open for one month, and each DOR Panelist has a vault limit of 1.5 million $TREE. Once the vault is filled, it will no longer accept user deposits.
What is a DOR Panelist?
A DOR Panelist is an expert or entity that has been rigorously vetted within the Treehouse ecosystem, responsible for submitting daily on-chain benchmark interest rate predictions, such as the Treehouse Ethereum staking rate. These predictions provide the pricing basis for fixed income products in the Treehouse ecosystem.
Why is the APR of the $TREE pre-deposit vault not fixed?
The returns for users during the event depend on the performance of the supported Panelists. The higher the accuracy and participation of the Panelists, the higher the users' earnings (with a minimum guarantee of 50% APR).
The essence is to ensure that everyone is responsible for their choices through incentives.
