This morning, I listened to a podcast interview with Jonny, co-founder of @Sidekick_Labs. He mentioned several interesting points👇

1/ Traffic does not equal buying power

My understanding is that one represents attention, measuring what people are focused on, what interests them, and what they will respond to; the other is what people truly believe in and are willing to spend money to bet on.

Attention can be easily manipulated. Clickbait, outrage marketing, and pornographic marketing can generate huge traffic, but traffic does not necessarily convert into buying power.

2/ The absence of ground promotion teams in the CT system

Some ground promotion teams are currently invisible in the crypto marketing dominated by X. They do not have their own X accounts, and most project parties tend to ignore these individuals, but their sales abilities are extremely formidable.

Jonny cited an example of a collaborative streamer from the ground promotion channel, who has at least a few hundred online viewers for each live broadcast.

3/ Qualities of an excellent streamer: openness

Specifically, it refers to curiosity about new things, combined with strict self-requirements.

4/ Running a live streaming platform is a very "heavy" and "tiring" task

Jonny mentioned that for each collaborating KOL, the platform will assign 6-8 people, including editing, customer service, etc., to ensure the smoothness of the streamer's live broadcast process.

In my view, the difficulty of operating a live streaming platform lies in "interpersonal interaction," which involves communication and management with streamers and viewers. This is a resource-intensive and energy-consuming job.

However, as Mable said, counterintuitively, entering a high-barrier, heavy, and tiring field actually has a higher success rate because most people are unwilling to do it.
