1/ Infrared - The Firstborn of Bear Chain

Infrared is a DeFi platform built around the Berachain PoL mechanism, achieving efficient value capture through BGT and BERA liquid staking solutions, node infrastructure, and PoL treasury.

It can be said that Infrared is the current leader in Bear Chain DeFi:

First, Infrared's TVL is $840 million, ranking first in Bear Chain;

Second, the total funding amount after Infrared's three rounds of financing reached $18.75 million, with investors including Framework Ventures, YZi Labs, Hack VC, and others. 3/ Recent Important Update - Infrared v1.5

In June 2025, Infrared will launch the v1.5 upgrade!

The important updates introduced in this upgrade include:

Allowing users to mint iBGT through Berachain's operator function, making it easier for users to directly use their earned rewards to mint $iBGT;

The internal reward auction mechanism of Infrared has been upgraded to an automated keeper system, significantly reducing slippage during the auction process;

Dynamically calculating the optimal Boost range for each validator through on-chain data and yield models, automatically allocating tokens to the pools with the highest yields.

In summary: less user friction, higher yields 👉 more users 👉 faster protocol positive flywheel!

The updates and iterations in the underlying design of the protocol may not bring short-term FOMO and hype, but they are key to whether a platform can operate stably in the long term. I have high hopes for Infrared, a team focused on first principles and capable of continuously delivering iterative products.
