One of the biggest characteristics of blockchain is that it cannot be tampered with; all content will be preserved. However, this may itself be a false proposition. Decentralized servers are still centralized, and in reality, very few can run full nodes. The consensus mechanisms are also uneven, and it is even possible that if AWS suddenly goes offline, some public chains may become inaccessible.
Decentralization and immutability are currently just an illusion of consensus under ideal conditions. Once the majority of nodes or validators are controlled, the data on the chain can be legally tampered with or rolled back.
Imagination is beautiful, expectations are also beautiful, but reality is still harsh. At least, it is like this for now.
