After a few days of rest in Kathmandu, I would like to share my trekking gear for reference for those on the Nepal EBC + Gokyo route.

Clothing:

1 set of merino wool base layer (Mizuno Pa Lingfeng series)

2 quick-dry shirts (Arc'teryx Cormac)

1 cotton jacket (Arc'teryx Atom)

1 down jacket (Black Diamond 700 fill, recommended to bring 1000 fill)

1 hard shell jacket (Montbell GTX)

2 soft shell pants (Arc'teryx Gamma and Montbell)

1 pair of shorts (Montbell)

Sun Protection:

Gloves

Buff (very useful)

Sun hat

Sunscreen

Arm sleeves (underestimated, got sunburned and peeled, learned my lesson)

Electronics:

Garmin F8 watch (monitoring blood oxygen is very important)

Anker multi-port charger

Insta360 camera

Lightweight power bank 20,000 mAh (NITECORE carbon fiber power bank, very useful)

Headlamp (NITECORE rechargeable)

Mosquito repellent (FLEXTAIL)

Power adapter

Medications:

5 iodine cotton swabs, adhesive bandages

999 cold medicine granules

Diclofenac sodium gel

Amoxicillin

Ibuprofen

Omeprazole

Glucose

Fast-acting heart rescue pills

Altitude sickness medication: Acetazolamide

First aid kit (simple bandaging)

Vitamin C effervescent tablets

Water System:

It is recommended to drink water through a filter cartridge, then boil it before drinking, as the water is not very hygienic. Two teammates had diarrhea and had to give up.

12-Day Itinerary:

Day 1: Lukla (2840m) — Pakding (2610m)

Day 2: Pakding (2610m) — Namche (3440m)

Day 3: Namche (3440m) — Tengboche (3860m)

Day 4: Tengboche (3860m) — Dingboche (4410m)

Day 5: Dingboche (4410m) — Gorak Shep (5140m)

Day 6: Gorak Shep (5140m) — Kala Patthar (5550m) — Gorak Shep (5140m)

Day 7: Gorak Shep (5140m) — EBC (5364m) — Zhongla (4830m)

Day 8: Zhongla (4830m) — Dragnag (4700m)

Day 9: Dragnag (4700m) — Gokyo (5350m)

Day 10: Gokyo (5350m) — Namche (3440m)

Day 11: Namche (3440m) — Lukla (2840m)

One day is usually spent in Namche for team formation or resupply, as Namche has abundant resources, totaling 12 days.
