Recently, the market has been quite manageable, with Bitcoin fluctuating between the 93,000 to 95,500 range, allowing for many trading opportunities. Ethereum has been even better for positioning; I have consistently held short positions as it approached previous high levels. Fans who have been following me know that I have been heavily positioning short on Ethereum, and I remain firmly bearish. I wonder if everyone has been able to profit! Especially yesterday, the short position I set above 1820 was reduced at the low point during consolidation, and the remaining position can continue to be held. Last night, as the U.S. stock market opened lower and Bitcoin broke below the previous day's low, Ethereum's downward correlation was undeniable!
Today's Ethereum positioning strategy continues to focus on shorting. As long as Bitcoin does not break above the high point of 95,500, Ethereum can be positioned with ease! Currently, the 4-hour K-line has formed a long lower shadow after dipping below the EMA120 and MA220 support levels, indicating a potential rebound. The current K-line is above the MA60, showing intent to rebound. Therefore, today we can pay attention to the 4-hour middle track and the first pressure level at MA30, while the second pressure level can be considered above the high point of the consolidation. Throughout the day, positioning can be adjusted based on the strength of the market rebound. From the MACD perspective, the death cross is still widening, and the fast line is about to touch the 0-axis. If the fast line shows no signs of turning back after touching below the 0-axis, we may face another significant correction during this holiday. Thus, I have consistently emphasized that the risk of going long on Ethereum is relatively high, and it is better to maintain a focus on shorting. Compared to Bitcoin's rebound strength, Ethereum indeed lags significantly, which should be clear to everyone! Therefore, we need to continue monitoring whether the EMA120 and MA220 can break down again; if they do, we will need to look down to the MA180 and MA120 levels, and it may not stop there!
Today's suggested short entry point: above 1800, stop loss at 1858, target at 1740; if it breaks below 1730-1715, you can continue to hold until around 1680. Specific entry opportunities can also be adjusted based on the strength of the market rebound, looking for shorting opportunities based on the rebound's strength!
