1 Let's Talk About ZKM @ProjectZKM First

zkVM is a zero-knowledge virtual machine, a versatile virtual machine. Its greatest advantage lies in its seamless integration with various computations. 2 New Bitcoin L2

The new Bitcoin L2 being launched by ZKM is supported at the framework and zkVM levels within Entangled Rollup. It has two major advantages:

1) Inheriting the security of the native BTC network 2) More sustainable returns for BTC holders

Firstly, ZKM utilizes the Optimistic Challenge Process mechanism (OCP) to achieve the network security of native BTC. This mechanism, which has been running securely for many years in Ethereum L2, uses an optimistic rollup security mechanism. When users deposit assets into the BTC Layer 2, they are locked into a pre-signed n-of-n multisig script, where signers can be any authorized and neutral third party. When users withdraw BTC, challengers can initiate challenges by paying input UTXOs until the challenge period ends.

Another crucial aspect is the risk of misbehavior by sequencers. To address this, ZKM will use a decentralized sequencer with a proof-of-stake (POS) mechanism to batch process L2 Rollup transactions and ensure security.

Secondly, ZKM's new Bitcoin L2 layer offers higher returns. For the BTC L2 layer, it will provide mining rewards for BTC, especially when applied in DeFi. ZKM will also allocate 40% of the total token supply for sequencer node rewards, liquidity staking mining, and more. In ZKM, BTC can be staked with decentralized sequencers to enjoy their rewards. In addition to ZKM's rewards, sequencer nodes can earn GAS fees from L2 transactions, sustainable income from mining pools, and potential MEV opportunities as the fastest entities processing L2 batch transactions.
