"My History of Being Deceived"
But today, let's not talk about investment. Let's chat about some fun things - my history of being deceived. I don't know if anyone else is as easily deceived as I am…
Back when I was working, one time when I was driving home, I saw a simple-looking laborer on the road, holding a super large turtle. He stopped my car and said they were doing construction over there, and happened to dig up this turtle. He asked if I wanted to buy it to save its life, otherwise they would have to kill it!
I was shocked. It's not easy for a turtle to grow this big, how could they be so cruel? I immediately said no, how much? The other party said only 5000. Although I thought it was expensive, I felt that saving a turtle's life was worth more than a few levels of Bodhisattva, so I immediately paid via QR code.
However, just after I paid, the laborer said, actually this one is a male, and there's a female over there. He asked if I wanted to save another one!
I was shocked again. What? It's actually a "turtle couple." How could I separate this "husband and wife"? I decided to buy the other one as well.
After bringing them home in the car, I didn't know how to take care of them, so I planned to find a place to release them. But I wasn't sure if the turtles would be hungry, and I didn't know what to feed them, so I asked in a WeChat group for advice.
To my surprise, a group member pointed out: absolutely do not release them! These are alligator snapping turtles, and they will seriously disrupt the ecosystem!
I was shocked once again!
After checking, it turned out to be true. I won't post a picture of them, their open mouths look very scary, but they didn't open their mouths when I bought them…
Then the group member also told me to be very careful and keep a distance, as they are very aggressive and their attacks are fierce!
So, I almost caused myself serious harm…
What should I do if I can't release them? I called the police station, and they said I had to handle this turtle myself. If I wanted to report it, I should go to the police station to make a record.
I also called the zoo and the forestry bureau, and in the end, they suggested that I should just kill them!
I was shocked once again: I originally wanted to release them, and now I have to kill them myself?
This could easily be made into a movie called "Crazy AICoin," damn it…
Finally, after some twists and turns, I found someone willing to "handle" them to help me end this nightmare.

On a trip, I sat next to a lady on the plane. She told me about her struggles of raising her child alone and her efforts to improve herself, which deeply moved me. She said her financial pressure was not small, and casually mentioned that my headphones looked really nice, so I immediately took them off and gave them to her.
But then, she hesitantly said, my iPad also looks great, could I give it to her as well…
I was shocked and said there are many photos and information on it, so it's not convenient to give it to her. If she really wanted it, I could buy another one for her. She said it's better to just give it to her, and she repeatedly asked a few times. I wasn't very happy about it, so I stopped talking to her.

After getting off the plane and traveling for a few days, when I returned to the airport, I met another lady. She looked anxious and came up to me, telling me that her phone and wallet had been stolen, and she needed some help to get back to her country because she was short on money. She also promised to return the money to me once she got her phone back in her country.
I saw her sincere expression and difficult situation, so I immediately gave her some US dollars that I didn't need anyway…
But after I gave her the money, she just said thank you and left, without any intention of returning the money in the future.
I comforted myself, thinking maybe she just forgot, after all, she's in such a difficult situation - I didn't want to ask a destitute person for such a small amount of money.

On the plane to Hong Kong, still in the airport hall, I met another lady. She was well-dressed and confident. She stopped me and told me that her phone and wallet were stolen, and she needed some help.
I was shocked and said, "This can't be a coincidence. Are you a scammer? I encountered the same situation yesterday!"
The lady smiled slightly and said she was the boss lady of XX Wood Company, with LV bags in her hands, how could she possibly scam for such a small amount of money. After some self-verification, I thought it's better to believe her - there can't be that many bad people in the world!
She took down my WeChat ID and said she would return the money to me as soon as she got home - maybe she's been on the road all this time. Several months passed, and she never contacted me.

In addition, there are also encounters on Douyin where a poor mother was live streaming to raise medical expenses for her son, who had a rare blood disease. I kept watching and because the address was not far from me, I planned to go there in person to take a look, and also show some concern for the child's education, and provide some more help.
But no one answered my questions, and the live stream blocked me…

In fact, there are many more. My friends say I have a "scam-attracting" constitution…
When I think about it, I always tend to think well of people and be optimistic about things. I even wrote a sentence: pessimism won't fail, but optimism leads to success.
I rarely complain, and I encourage my friends around me not to complain, but to always look forward with optimism and passion - because I think people who complain will only get themselves into a spiral of more complaints, while maintaining optimism and the spirit to overcome everything will lead to a positive spiral.
Everything in the world has its pros and cons. Optimistic people tend to be more willing to take risks in investments, but due to excessive optimism, they are also more likely to suffer losses - in fact, sometimes the more you research projects in the currency circle, the less willing you are to take action; the more information you know, the less willing you are to take action.
Of course, I am sincere to people. Although I am easily deceived on one hand, on the other hand, I can quickly meet some like-minded friends. I won't list them one by one, but many friends' brief words on Twitter can make me feel the vibe of similar people, and as a result, I quickly make friends and gain a lot.
Now, in both investment and life, I have chosen the same strategy - to communicate with honest and reliable people, and to invest in projects run by honest and reliable people.
